The 2024 GMC Acadia, a three-row mid-size SUV, has had a major refresh for 2024. We know our customers with larger Wauwatosa families will be pleased with the changes in vehicle size, engine, and a larger touchscreen. This outstanding SUV offers many benefits for Greenfield, WI drivers. Now may be the time to check it out at Brookfield Buick GMC.
GMC Acadia Is Larger for 2024
The 2024 GMC Acadia midsized SUV grew in every dimension. It is 10 inches longer, 8.6 inches wider, and it is even 3.4 inches taller than last year’s model.
All this equates to a roomier interior for our customer’s families and friends. Even the cargo area has expanded by 80 percent. These changes bring the Acadia closer to the GMC Yukon in size. The length of the Acadia is only six inches shorter as of this model year, and its width is now the same as the Yukon’s.
If you opt for bench second-row seating, the Acadia now has room for up to eight passengers. With the available captain’s chairs, you can seat up to seven passengers for your errands around Glendale, WI.
GMC Acadia’s New Engine
The new GMC Acadia has only one engine choice for your drives around Milwaukee and beyond. That is an advantage. The new 328-horsepower turbocharged four-cylinder engine can tow up to 5,000 pounds. This engine delivers 18 more horsepower and can tow up to 1,700 more pounds than the former larger engine offering in the lineup, a V6. The transmission is now an eight-speed automatic. The older transmission was a nine-speed. You can still get the Acadia in front- or all-wheel drive.
GMC Acadia’s Larger Touchscreen and Super Cruise
The GMC Acadia’s touchscreen grew as well. Standard on all models is a 15-inch infotainment touchscreen with Google Built-in. GMC’s hands-free driving system, Super Cruise, is now available on the Acadia in the Elevation and AT4 trim models.
See us in Brookfield for a test drive of the new GMC Acadia. We know our Milwaukee-area customers will be pleased with its more spacious interior, engine performance, and larger touchscreen.
